God develops an embryo in obscurity.
Obscurity or hiddenness provides a chance to develop and mature, to overcome obstacles and to get priorities in order.
However, people want success when they have not grown up sufficiently to achieve it and maintain it.
This is like having a child prematurely. The chances of survival diminish the earlier the baby is exposed outside the mother’s womb.
To be exposed too soon is not a blessing. There is a time and a season for everything under heaven.
Examples of Biblical hiddenness are those of Jesus who was hidden for 30 years. David was hidden while looking after sheep till he killed Goliath. And Moses who was hidden for 40 years in the desert.
The length or period of hiddenness varies greatly, as we can see in these Biblical examples. It depends on how far you are into the formation process.
The Lord hides you because He loves you, and are valuable to Him.
Take heart, when you are strong enough to withstand the outside elements you will be revealed.
